The ‘Mahut’ with his companion an elephant ala ‘Hathi Mere Saathi’ (not of that Rajesh Khanna and Tanuja starring film) falls in love with a Brahmin girl in ‘Muthu Mavutha’. Muthu manages the elephant of a temple. A trained elephant from Kerala has come for this film purpose.


The muhurut for this ‘Muthu Mavutha’ was held at Lumbini Garden – Dr Rajakumar Vaayu Vihara Park on Wednesday evening. Ashok Kheney of NICE and Maharshi Guruji were present to bless the team. With a few small lamps (Hanathe) the shooting continued at lake of Lumbini Garden.


Vijay Vajra and Aishwarya both television actors are making debut in big screen. Vijay Vajra is also producer of this ‘Muthu Mavuth’. Vijay Vajra of Chikkamma, Alugulimane etc says no prior preparation is done to stay with an elephant. Aishwarya of Anuroopa television serial is playing Brahmin girl.


Ramu is now Gajakeshwar making debut as director. He has worked under V Ravichandran, Dr Girish Kasaravalli, Mudduraj and others. The 70 percent of the film happens at an island Aigunda near Honnavara. One has to travel in boat to reach this place. The subject of this film also contains a strong message to the society he says. It is 25 days shoot at the island. Krishna Adiga, Premalatha and others are in the cast.


V Manohar scores music for five songs. He has also written two songs and two are penned by Goturi.
